The WA Innovators of the Year program is a WA government initiative that highlights the most entrepreneurial minds and businesses in Western Australia.
Successful businesses and innovations benefit the broader community through the creation of:
- new jobs
- new industries
- economic growth
- export opportunities for Western Australia
This program aims to recognise outstanding participants who have successfully commercialised their ideas.
Applications are open for the Western Australia’s Innovators of the Year 2024.
This year, a new category for the public sector has been introduced which closes on 31 July 2024, and an increased prize pool of $240,000 shared across 8 awards within 6 categories.
The following categories are as follows:
- Rio Tinto Growth Category
- Rio Tinto Emerging Category
- Business News ‘Great for the State’ – Platinum Award
- Wesfarmers Wellbeing – Platinum Award
- Woodside Oil & Gas – Platinum Award
